What’s New in Last Epoch Season 5?
One of the major additions is Rage of Morditas, a new encounter that can appear during Campaign and Monolith progression. Players looking for an additional endgame challenge can also take on Pinnacle Morditas, giving experienced Travelers another difficult target to prepare for.
Season 5 also introduces three new skills: Radiant Lance for Paladin, Summon Tide Elemental for Shaman, and Dreamslash for Bladedancer. These skills open up additional possibilities for build experimentation, especially when combined with the season’s balance and item changes.
There are also 16 new Unique Items and 2 Set Items, giving players more reasons to experiment with equipment and different character setups.
Merchant’s Guild and Circle of Fortune Changes
The new season also brings updates to two important faction systems.
For the Merchant’s Guild, improvements to the Bazaar can make it easier for players to search for equipment and evaluate items. This can become particularly useful during the early stages of a new cycle, when players are actively building characters and trading gear.
Meanwhile, Circle of Fortune receives changes to its Prophecy system and Favor mechanics, giving players another way to approach item acquisition and progression.
With new builds, equipment and trading opportunities appearing at the beginning of a season, having sufficient gold can give players more flexibility while developing their characters.
